NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL HEALTH VISITING TEAM CONSULTATION

The Health Visiting team would like to understand the experience parents have had with the service during the Covid pandemic. We also welcome your views on the changes to the service that have been made due to the pandemic. These have included offering virtual appointments, ChatHealth which is a secure text messaging system, the suspension of baby clinics and breastfeeding groups as well as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
The Health Visiting service is available to all families in North East Lincolnshire who are expecting a baby, have a new born or a child up to the age of 5. A health visitor is a registered nurse or midwife and have been trained in public health; they provide advice and support at this important time for parents and their child.

How to take part:

The easiest way to have your say is by completing the survey online at Have your say – NELC | NELC (nelincs.gov.uk). In normal circumstances paper copies of the consultation would be available at local libraries and Grimsby’s Customer Access Point. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are instead offering a telephone and postal option if required. If you need to ask any questions, a survey posting to you or to complete the survey via telephone please telephone 01472 323660 or send an email to clinical.governance@nelincs.gov.uk.
