Great Coates In Bloom Win Gold

Huge congratulations to Great Coates in Bloom who today were awarded, for the second year running, the coveted Gold award by East Midlands in Bloom.
Over 200 guests attended the awards ceremony in Spalding with the group represented by Chair Mike Stewart and volunteers Dawn Stewart, Chris Dunn and Carl Thomas.
Its a magnificent achievement to receive such a high accolade for two years running and a testament to the 16 hard working and committed volunteers who give their own time to make Great Coates look as splendid as it does.
The group forged links with Great Coates Nursery School and Cambridge Park Academy and judges recognised this by awarding the nursery a special judges award whilst Cambridge Park Academy were rewarded aswell.
Rev Julie Donn of Woad Lane received a Gold Award for her garden so all in all a great afternoon for the Great Coates in Bloom team and more importantly for Great Coates.
WELL DONE GREAT COATES IN BLOOM !
